Frustrating. I thought it would be easier to start wiring on the bench,then move the almost completed panel to the airplane for the final connections. Hah!
Crimped terminal ends to some of the systems (comm / xpnder / trim / flaps) and attached to breaksers. Need more breakers.
The trim and flap breakers are very close together; if the panel flexes, the trim could make a direct connection to the flaps input lead; no short, but the trim would not be protected by a breaker. Will have to find some material to put between the terminals. No biggie but frustrating. As it is, I've got enough wires going all over the place, and I haven't even connected the EIS or EFIS harnesses to the systems, which will create aboyut another 60 loose leads dangling around.
