Brief Description: Forward skin L angles, miscellany
Finished up-drilling holes on the left side of the fuselage in the area of the forward side skin and other longeron-related holes.
Began the process of adding L-angle stiffeners to the inner surfaces of the forward skins. Each side has 3 longitudinal angles, with differring degrees of curvature to fit the skin. Had to use my fluting pliers to gradually insert a curve to the surfaces. Finished the 3 angles on the right side and the top one on the left. Cut the second left angle, but have not begun fluting.
There will be wider, and heavier-stock angles which mount to the TOP of these L angles to provide a more finished appearance as well as adding strength and eliminating an edge that might cut a shin in flight.
