Fitted the air deflectors inside the Jabiru supplied plenum chambers. Fitted the sealing rubber around the front. Had to modyfi the RH chamber as the plug leads were hard up against the cylinder head fins. The firewall forward part is just about finished, I need to get some longer southco fastners so I can put some shims under the cowling and get a better transition to the windscreen. Sanded and put more Bog on the wheel pants around the join line. Decided to use the factory supplied fibreglass tips. I was thinking of making a mold and remaking lighter ones but I just want to get this finished now. The fin tip is to long and overhung the rudder by about an 1/8" so I chopped it off and refilled the area with micro balloons. Was thinking of getting the painting out of the way then do the canopy because of storage, will see.
