I thought I had the canopy fitting good with the recomended 1/16" gap all around untill I left it out in the sun to softhern the plastic prior to drilling holes. The canopy expanded so much there was no gap left. Took more off, 1/8" all around, same thing happened once in the sun so I took some more off, I will see how that goes. Drilled all the holes along the sides, cut the slot for the outside latch, fitted the inside handle. The problem I now have is the tongues in the sliding mechanism are really hard to slide out of the slots in the fuse I think because the canopy sides are trying to twist the sliding mechanism, should be ok once I put the corner rivets in and possibly sand the phenolic blocks a little.
