I eventually got the tank to fit. The strap length shown on the plans is way to long. The strap width shown on the plans is wrong. I had to grind the straps down to 1" wide as against 1 1/8". I had to move the straps back 12mm on the longerun and the tank is sitting 20mm lower then shown on the plans.
