Finally got the main wheels on. Got the toe in as close as I could. Not sure why the Sonex has so much Camber built in. The Azusa wheels have not gotten any better in all the years they have been making them. Took some time getting the brake backing plate square with the axle.The Sonex made brake drum is a close fit in the Azusa wheels and because of this shims can not be added to "True"it up. These wheels have taper bearings, have not seen that before. The female part of the bearing needed pressing into the wheel further then I had to cut the spacers down 1/8" to get the brakes further into the wheel. I have "floated" the brake shoes the same as I did in the Corby to help impove braking. Tailwheel next.
