Section FF1 ENGINE INSTALLATION
I am back from S-n-F 2011, showed up on Saturday, two days after the big tornado.
FF1 – 3 Step 1 … I installed the IE SPDT Oil Pressure 15 switch (to activate the hour meter) into the VA-168 Sender Mount that will also hold other Dynon sensors, such as Fuel and Manifold pressure. Also installed a couple of AN822-4D and AN823-4D fitting and some F 1/8 Pipe Plugs onto the VA-168 Sender Mount.
Step 2 … I bolted the VA-168 Sender Mount assembly to the Firewall Bulkhead with a couple of AN3-5A and AN960-10L washers.
Step 3 … Delayed this step as I have yet to order the proper oil hose.
Step 4 … Connected the CT A-740 Black Push Pull Cables to the TG-10 L/R Heater Box Assemblies. I located; two DG-7, five DG-3, and one DG-4 Mil Spec cushion clamps and bolted to the fire wall bulkhead with AN3 bolts and washers.
Time about 4 hours.
