Brief Description: The SCAT Tubing Installations

CABIN HEAT AND VENTILATION SECTION 50 Step 1 … I had already attached the F-1051J SCAT Tube Support to the F-1048-R Fwd Fuselage Rib with AN509-8R8 screws. Step 2 … I located a piece of Rubber Chanel and fabricated a F-1051H Scat Anti-Chafe as shown in figure 2 and glued with Silicon Rubber onto the F-1004A Center Section Bulkhead. Step 3 … I found the SCAT Tubing that came with the Finishing Kit and cut 10” off of it to create the Fwd Heater Hose and secured with a two AN737TW-66 Clamp to the VENT TG-10L Cabin Heat Selector Box and the Fwd VA-175 Heat Duct Tee. Step 4 … I cut a 54” length of SCAT tubing to create the Aft Heater Hose. I then placed the hose through the F-1051J SCAT Tube Support then twisted onto the TG-10 R Cabin Heat Selector Box with an AN737TW-66 Clamp and tightened. Step 5 … Placed the Aft Heater Hose over the F-1048C-1 Fuel Valve Bracket, as shown in figure 4. Then placed over the center F1051J SCAT Anti-Chafe and then I attached the other end to the VA-175 Heat Duct Tee using AN737TW-66 Clamp and tightened. Time about 2 hour.
