DOOR WARNING LATCH SYSTEM

I install the supplied RV-10 Door Latch System Warning Light that is supposed to allow the pilot to verify that each door is securely latched before take-off. This is important because several RV-10 owners have experienced the door separating from the aircraft while in flight. The system has tow magnetic reed switches for each door pin. A Light Emitting Diode or LED is mounted on the aircraft electronics panel to clearly visually alert the status of each door. The reed switches are connected in series so if either door pin is not engaged through the Cabin Door Pin Block the LED will illuminate, indicating a door is not fully secured. Two relay switches are used to allow this type of electronic circuit to be completed simply by the kit builder.

Time about 3 hours becse I was working slowly.
