Brief Description: Painting the Tail Cone

OCTOBER 2008 10/1/2008 ... 10/31/2008 .... Yes, I painted the Tail Cone using the Sherwin Williams DTS primer /finisher while waiting for the Wing sub-kit to arrive. This added at least 40 hours to the tail cone completion time as I had to set up a paint booth, apply multiple coats of paint and sand between coats. So total time for the Tail Code Assembly at this stage should be about 370 hours.
