Brief Description: WING COMPLETED SUCESSFULLY !!!!! and Aileron
I installed the Aileron (Roll) Electric Trim that was a $300.00 dollar option. I tested the sero unit for operation and the LED (green) switch that shows the amount of movement by lighing up the LED segments using a 9 volt battery. After satifactory operation of the unit I began the installation process in the Left Wing at the access panel nearest to the Fuselage.
The WINGS (Left and Right) are now offically COMPLETED !!!!! :) yea
I am now at the point of removing the complete Wings from the garage build area. I will need to remove the wings Flaps and Fairings (left and right) but leaving the Ailerons and placing the completed Wings assembly in a new place for storage because the Fuselage is arriving sometime next week. I estimated I saved about $6,000.00 dollars by not ordering the X-10 Quick Build Wings kit but just building the regular X-10 kit quickly. Total time for the completed Wings was about 400 hours vs. about 150 hours necessary to complete the Quick Build Wings.
