07/03/2008 …….I have completed the Horizontal Stabilizer or HS section 8-1 to 8-14. Overall I spent about 60m hours on this stage but I not really talking close count of the hours I have spent as I am progressing at a leisurely rate. The HS was not very difficult but I am now not a “rooky riveter” and can select and adjust the air rivet gun with the best of them for blind riveting. Time about 5 hours and about 60 on the HS Stage. Also to save my ears and the neighbors ears, I moved the air compressor up into my attic and extended a hose, regulator and fitting into my shop area and now no more compressor noise.
