Right Wing, I ground down the edges of W-1004 R and W-1005-R Bottom Wing Skins at the lap joint so as to obtain a better fit, even though the seam is on the bottom of the aircraft. This is not as difficult as it seems with a air powered die grinder. Then I deburred the Bottom Wing Skins and ground off the Alodine (“shinny”) material and dimpled all the appropriate holes with #40 and #30 dies. I also removed the alodine and then dimpled with #40 die the two J-Channels Stiffeners W-1028A and W-1028B Right Wing. Finally after deburring I primed with two coats all the parts and inside of the Bottom Skins with DTM Primer/Finisher. Time about 6 hours for the Right Wing only.
