Still working on the X-10 project. Went to the annual fall Chapter 38th EAA picnic and talked to some friends. Ordered from Van’s and Spruce Aircraft some items, for the Firewall Forward sub-project. Such items as the Oil Cooler bracket, a set fuel and oil hoses, Bowden cable wire ends, 4” SCAT tubing, 5 amp CB for the transponder, a couple of circuit dimmer switches and other odds and ends. And for working on finishing the Upper and Lower Cowl, a quart of UV Smooth Prime and Poly-Fiber Superfil. One item I purchased from Spruce Aircraft was a Piper Aircraft style jumper socket and plug, that I planned to use to jump the X-10 when the battery was low by installing it in the baggage bulkhead. However, it is too big, it’s better suited for turbine engine aircraft.
Worked on installing all of above on Saturday, so around 8 hours total.
