I have been busy at work, so the X-10 project was placed in second order of priority. However, I did order the Communication Panel. I selected the tried and true Garmin GMA 340, purchased from Sarasota Avionics in Florida. I also created the stack rack and have placed the GMA 340 where it looks best. Next step is to complete the avionics harness. I have ordered the wire and other items that are necessary from SteinAir. And have ordered a crimper set from “the E-Bay”. The I won by auction a DMC DANIELS Crimp Tool AFM8 M22520/2-1 and a matching DANIELS K42 Positioner head. These are the same crimping tools that Boeing and AeroBus use for their aircraft assembling. It looks like the avionics work begins.
