Brief Description:  Wiring the Avionics and the Panel

May29th 2010:
Continued the avionics panel wiring of the X-10 today, I had previously laid the harness into the fuselage. I purchased the Van’s pre-assembled wiring harness as a starting point. The harness is not complete (as I have designed more avionics/electronics into the X-10) as expected. So I have modified the harness and teh schematic to include such items as ELT, Flaps Toggle control switch, a heated pitot, etc ..…… But it’s a good basic wiring harness to begin with and includes a bunch of CB and Switches that are easily wired, also including the battery master and starter contactors. In a seperate subject I needed to cut 3.25 inches off the joy sticks so that the Infinity grips would not hit the panle and the switches when pushing down in pitch. After reviewing a few other builders I found that this is what everybody else was doing. This took and extra 1 hour for each stick.

Time 6 hours.
