Brief Description: Canopy release

Well, gave the whole concept of a canopy release a lot of thought, reviewed numerous threads in the VAF archives, etc, and decided to include a canopy front hinge release for the reason of ease of removal in case of repair/mod work. But, the original Van's design has a handle coming back through the instrument panel which is fuggly. So, after reviewing alternative options, I decided to keep it very simple and make the hinge pins connect to a short length of rod that is adel clamped to the bulkhead, holding it in place. Access will be via two access panels that will be cut in the forward skin anyway. Pic 1 shows the final result, with 2 the initial cut in the rod, and pic 3 the pin and rod removed.
