Fitted the rudder - sort of looks like a plane sitting there, now. Swung nice and free. I then made the rudder stops seen in pic 3, and had to readjust them a bit since the whole tail is lowered by 1/4". Once fitted, they were drilled, primed, and riveted on with CS4-4 pop rivets. To ensure 35 degrees of swing either side, I measured with a tape from rudder trailing edge to ends of elevators (as per Van's), but also double checked by taping on a pointer under the rudder and holding a protractor while checking the sdwing - 35 degrees exactly, with about an inch clearance to the elevators.
