I 'dry' assembled the canopy frame parts, slightly bent the side rails to conform with the top of the fuselage, drilled the splice plates. On the latter, I left one hole out (see reason why most of the way down this page http://www.rvproject.co.uk/Finish/300307_Aft_frame.htm ).

While some folks chop the 631 rib to clear the little bit of protruding WD725 bracket, I sanded flush.
