mAjor chunk of install done today - finished grinding the outer brackets flush to the fuse sides, then fit the rollbar and found it was 1/8" from being wide enough side to side, so I made shims from .063 stock and riveted them on the brackets (see pic 1). On the outer bracket (631C), the rivet heads can not protrude, so I countersunk each side and squeezed like on the rudder trailing edge. Now with the shims, the cabin frame/rollbar fit perfectly. Pic 2 shows install of the bar that goes from the rollbar back to rear baggage compartment wall (F-706 bulkhead).
