With the help of a couple local RV-7 builders (thanks Larry and Chad), we attached the left wing. Some gentle rocking assured a good fit, then some taper ground bolts were used as drift pins, afterwhich some hardware store 7/16" bolts were added. The good aircraft grade bolts will be used only in final assembly. Now that the wing is on, the next steps will be to align the sweep and incidence of the wing to the fuselage. While the main spar is bolted, there is a little play in the wing for adjustment - once it is set, I will drill the rear wing spar to the fuse spar bracket, which will lock the wing in place. After some extra work, the wing will later come off and everything will be repeated on the right.
