Brief Description:  Fwd seat floors and tunnel covers

Today was spent finishing the fowd seat floors (I will not screw them in for now - just cleco them - these do not get riveted and are held by screws for maintenance and inspection purposes down the road). Next i built up the center tunnel covers and heater vent. Pretty crude affair - heat that diffuses off the exhaust is tunneled thru the firewall thru a valve. The cover you see in pic 2 sits against the firewall - heat comes through the vent louvers. A knob will control the valve and the heat. About as primitive as an old VW, but I've used these in various aircraft and they are surprisingly effective. Also built up the fuel valve cover (pic 3). I will likely have a lot of this covered if I build a console that runs between the seat up to the panel like most cars have - debating the cool factor of that vs having some better lateral leg room. I have been in touch with some builders (including an Aussie Jon Clements, who kindly sent a bunch of pics of his work), and will check out RV's at Oshkosh that have them.
