Finished up left wing - aileron bracket replacement finally came in from Van's - drilled, deburred, primed, then riveted to the other bracket, L-angles, and rib/doubler (pic 1). Doubler riveted. Then flap and aileron gap fairing (a 45 degree angled piece of aluminum that streamlines the airflow and attaches to the rear spar and upper skin) was riveted to spar and upper skin (pic 2). Bottom skins were clecoed for access later (wiring, pushrods and linkage, pitot), then the wing placed in the stand I made the other day. Time to start the right wing tomorrow!!
