Brief Description:  rudder stiffners

Cut all stiffners to rough shape with snips, then used Delta sanding station to bring edges to final cut line (1 inch belt was great to start, then 6 inch disc helped straighten the tapered edge), and finally the Scothbrite wheel/grinder was used to round all corners, smooth and deburr all edges. This sequence worked well and was quick for metal shaping. All stiffners then clecoed to rudder skins (these skins are so thin at .016, they always alarm the non-builders who do not understand the strength of the sum of parts when all is finished. My visiting mother had the expected reaction).
