Today is the official start day for the RV-9A. I decided to start with the vertical stabilizer (VS) first instead of the HS, after the advice of other builders. I clecoed the spar doubler/spar, and rudder hinge brackets. The ribs were seamed and fluted, deburred, then clecoed on. Once the sleleton was together, then the skin was clecoed. All this is temporarily held together, as everything next needs to be drilled, taken back apart, deburred, some parts primed, then the riveting can begin.
