I purchased this IO-540-C4B5 engine off of a christen eagle. The engine has 170 hours on in SMOH. The eagle ran out of fuel and landed on a rural road. The landing collapsed the gear and struck the wood/carbon composite MT prop that was not spinning at the time. Upon purchase, this engine was sent to Crotts Aircraft Service in Dodge City, KS for an inspection and replacement of the rear crank gear bolt per Lycoming SB 475.
