I have now had 2 flights and all is going well except in a climb cylinder #3 and #4 go up to 435 degrees and I have to level off. I did a search on Van's Air Force and it was suggested that closing the ends of the inlet ramps would help. I did that yesterday. See Image #1 and also sealed all remaining gaps in baffles. However when I flew today, I may have had slightly lower temps but not much. I will next try blocking off some of the air to the front 2 cylinders since they are 50 degrees cooler. This was suggested by Vern Darley, our EAA tech advisor and DAR.
