Brief Description: Fun begins with Tape and Linseed Oil
Finished the cradle shown in previous post this morning, then flipped the Searey over and onto cradle with Leah's help. Threw on turtle deck and foredeck - she looks like a Searey now!
Spent quite a bit of time putting the crate pieces into our shed for future use - Hey, it is like 8 sheets of 5/16" plywood!!
Then Dad delivered a surprise (actually last night) - a new drill press. He's so thoughtful, just what I needed! Then he stopped by today to check on things and help me assemble the drill press. We enjoyed a very nice dinner made by Ms. Leah (roast, potatoes, veggies, bread). Then we opened the flying surfaces box and grabbed some tape. About 2.5 hours later we had finished that box and Jon had had it for the day! Poor guy!
I would like to add that I've been putting tape over the part labels - hoping that will protect them as I clean up any stray linseed after I apply...
