Brief Description: Side cowling flanges / dash work
Finished countersinking the cowling side flanges and got them powder coated and clecoed into place to start fitting the lower cowl. The cowling at the spinner does not fit the Whirlwind spinner and I needed to cut the top and bottom halves for clearance of the tapered spinner back plate. I will need to add some reinforcement back to the lips before it's complete. Installed the combing on the dashboard edge. This is a Volkswagen repro part that was suggested on VAF, installed it with some clear silicone and it should be fine and looks good. Checked out the LED sstrip lighting and it's plenty bringht with the dimmer on full bright.
