Brief Description: nose and main wheel installation
Installed the main wheels and brake calipers and nose wheel assembly. This is all pretty staright forward and themains go on easily. The nose assembly was switched to a Matco axle and .25 spacers. This is a really nice setup and allows you to set the pre load on the wheel bearings then install the axle and torque the axle bolt to spec. Th Vans axle assembly does it all at once and you can't apply full spec torque to the bolt without locking up the bearings. The Matco axle calls for an anti-rotation bolt to be drilled and installed through the fork and you need t be sure the bolt does not interfere with the wheel pant bracket that gets installed later. If you mock up the bracket, you can find a spot for the bolt no problem.
