Lots of miscellaneous work today cleaning up some unfinished sections. Finished the air vents and have them ready to paint. I switched out the plastic twist ball vents for the auminum ones from Vans. The plastic ones are junk and don't close and seal. Attached the canopy and checked the tilt mechanism which is working fine and seems to be plenty of lift strength to hold up the canopy once it is all completed. I received RV-14 sticks from Tosten with grips. These sticks replace the kit ones which need to be modified so that the grips don't hit the dash with full down elevator commanded. These sticks fit great and easily clear the dashboard.
