Brief Description:  Pants on and flight testing

Installed the wheel pants and fairings and leg cuffs and did a test flight. All seems like things are staright as there was no yaw or roll changes after installation. The plane has a trim wedge installed on the rudder as it need right rudder even in cruise and it was neither better nor worse after adding the pants. Looks like the wedge will get painted eventually and permanently installed. This seems typical as even the Vans factory plane has a trim wedge on the rudder. One note is that I picked up 20+ knots TAS after installation which seemed like a lot but I verified with a speed test flying 1 min at each cardinal heading (N,E,S,W) adding the ground speed and dividing by 4. Flying at 8500 feet WOT and 2500 rpm showed at TAS of 180 kts which is faster than I expected! Downside was the fuel burn was really not efficient at 15+GPH flying ROP still for break in.
