Brief Description:  Engine oiling

Got things all set up to do the cranking of the engine to check for oil pressure. Removed the bottom plugs and cranked for about 10 secongs. No oil pressure, and big leak under the oil cooler. Turns out the cooler had a puncture hole in the back which I have no idea how it got there but its leaking. Also, the starter would not disengage when I released the start button, I had to turn off the master switch to get it to stop. About 5 minutes later whicle I was looking for the oil leak I heard a loud solenoid clunk (battery was disconnected by now). So it appeared the starter solenoid on the firewall is also defective and needs to be replaced. Call to Vans and overnite shipping for a solenoid and a new oil cooler.
