Brief Description:  Weight and balance

Did the weight and balance with scales borrowed from the local EAA chapter. The challenge is to get the plane level once on the scales to get accurate loads on eash wheel. The nose was sitting high so I let air from the nose tire until fuselage longerons in the cabin were level (per plans). Weight 3 different configurations: Basic empty weight, Basic empty + wheel pants and fairings, and Basic empty + wheels pants and fairings + full interior (carpets, side panels etc). My basic empty weight came out at 1237 which I am happy with since the plane is painted and everything has Akzo primer inside. The wheel pants and fairings added 12 lbs.
