Started the engine for the first time and all went well. Fired up right at 15 seconds of cranking. The idle speed is too low and the idle mixture seems too rich so I will adjust those. There were no leaks and nothing came loose! I had the airplane tied to my pick up with tow straps for backup in case the brakes did not hold. The brakes held fine and I got about 5 minutes total on the engine in 3 separate runs to adjust things, still not there but close. All engine parameters showed up correctly on the G3X and the CHTs never got much above 200 on the short runs. The Ammeter shunt was not reading though but I reversed the sensing wires at the shunt after the first run and then the amps were reading properly.
