All clecos removed and parts dismantled. Blue plastic protection removed along rivet lines using a soldering iron and a straight edge. This resulted in a nasty thumb burn and sadly some light scratches on the skin as it seems the iron had a sharp edge. These should polish out with no problem though.
The BIG problem of the moment is that one of my "friendly" neighbours has complained about the compressor noise - invitable really but then again it was running at 2pm so hardly at an unsociable hour.
The only solution to this problem I can see is to build a sound-proof box for the compressor. This will be expensive and time consuming but should hopefully mean I can continue without having to find another workshop so soon into the project.
