HS Skeleton components are gradually added to the skin and clecoed into position.
I ordered 10 rattle cans of green Zinc Chromate from LAS Aerospace today for priming the internal surfaces. After lots of research around the various priming options I figured Zinc Chromate is tried and tested and the easiest to apply. Many builders seem to have environmental concerns, but to be honest if I was into saving the planet I wouldn't be building an American gas-gussling aricraft in the first place! :)
A roll of 220 grit emery cloth is also on order as the paper-backed wet 'n' dry doesn't seem to last long against the rough aluminium edges. A metal-cutting bandsaw blade should also be here within a week so no more arm-ache with the hack saw!
