Tthe 9 holes on the HS attach brackets were match drilled to the front spar assembly. A long piece of metal was clamped to the bottom flanges of the brackets before drilling to ensure they were level with each other and prevent a wonky HS installation!
The rear spar doubler was prepared and match-drilled with the rear spars with the 8 hinge brackets pinned into position. All parts were filed smooth and deburred.
