Tonight I finally got around to working on the plane. First, I primed the bearing (VA-146) per the suggestion in the plans, then riveted together the HS-411.
Next, I match-drilled that to the rear spar (#12) to accept the bolts that will hold it (HS-411) to the rear spar. All-in-all, not too bad for a newbie.
Tomorrow night I will start the front spar for the horizontal stabilizer. It's slow-going, but it's going well I believe.
