Cut 38 mm strips of .025" across the grain and bent up some STD "L" angle. Cut them to length and drilled one hole in 10 mm from one end. Installed the angles and backdrilled the other end with the help of my Wife. Backdrilled all of the R/H side angles to 3/32.
Once the metal is aligned in the bender, the clamp nuts only need to be finger tightened
And then an easy lift and it's done. Not bad for an el-cheapo DIY bender
