Removed spar ID plate from the front of the main spar and reattached it to the rear of the spar so that it can be read after the root doubler is fitted.
Extracted all of the rivet stems from the drilled out Avex rivets,
Removed the 3 nose ribs after marking their position onto the spar caps. Also removed the 4 wing walk ribs and the front of rear ribs 5 & 6 to enable me to work on the solid rivets.
Drilled out and extracted the solid rivets as required for the extrusion.
So far things are happening quick on this wing
Pilot drilled the 3/16 rivets to 1/8 to locate centre and then drill 1/2 way to 5/32 with drill guide
All the solid rivets removed and ready to install the extrusion
