Drilled out the top tack rivets and bottom spar rivets and removed the top main and the nose skins. Also drilled out the rivets holding the wing walk ribs in to make better access for removing the solid rivets.
I used a fine pin punch to knock out the rivet stems before drilling them out.
The odd rivet stem won't knock out but they will move downward enough to not foul the drill bit.
