Upholstered the center console with suede and 6mm foam. I started by making a template of exactly where I wanted the upholstery to sit with a few mm clearance all round plus the width of the console plus foam, 6+6+6+6=24mm. I then glued the foam to the suede and folded the suede over the edges and test fitted. The piece fitted perfectly so I ran a hem around all of the edges and glued it in place.
Made a template for the seat bottom upholstery.
There is an inspection hole under this piece to be cut out and a cover made for it
