Had to trim the front of the canopy a bit more so that the front of the canopy could be pushed in to meet the front tube. Drilled through the bubble in the usual way, medium speed, gentle preassure whilst using one finger as a stop and pushing the bubble against the tube so mthat the drill bit can't pull through and crack the bubble
