I laid out a cut line with insulation tape and placed some alignment marks to help repositioning later. I removed the gas strut brackets from the sill to drill through pivot shaft for the retaining cotter pin. Reassembled everything and trimmed the bubble some more and drilled it to the side rails and then started to fit the rear hoop on the front bubble.
