Debured and reinstalled the bracing and added one new brace. I will remove all of the steel nutplates and install aluminium rivnuts and stainless steel machine screws so that there is nothing able to be magnitised anywhere near the compass. I scuffed the panel with green scotchbrite and degreased ready for 2K paint.
Extra brace just above the switches to stiffen the panel and to hold the switches more snug
