Made a fibreglass flashing for the front of the bubble to form a seal to the bonnet when closed. Started with green vinyl to protect the bonnet and then duct tape to stop anything sticking. I used a piece of stick on foam stuck to the bonnet on top of the duct tape to form a recess for a weather strip.
The green material is sign makers vinyl to protect the alloy from epoxy drips
