I wanted to see a bit of visual progress (albeit short lived), so I decided to tackle the sheet metal side of things with the instrument panel. This was all very straight forward. Fitted, drilled off, and deburred. After chatting to a bloke who has flown several 8's, I decided to go with the traditional Vans location for the air vent in the panel. I was advised that under the panel was a pain in the 'leg' (he is a similar height/build to me).
