Brief Description: Control sticks and torque tube assembly
The bronze bushes for the forward and rear sticks were machined to size in the lathe. The bolt holes were undersize drilled, then reamed. The interconnecting rod between the sticks was fabricated and primed. The sticks were assembled onto the torquetube along with the interconnecting rod. The rod was then adjusted to position both sticks at the same angle, with the use of a lazer level. The rod end bearings that support the torquetube were set to their required height, and the lock nuts were loctited in position. therear bearing support was fitted and primed as well.
