Brief Description: Fuel pumps and pre filters removal
I got all excited about installing the engine, so I shared it with the Vans Air Force world. Unfortunately the attention was drawn to my fuel pumps location, and lots of good info was provided as to why it was a bad spot. THe general comments were around the pumps being good at providing pressure, however were not great at drawing the fuel. THerefore my pumps were mounted too high. It was a bit deflating after being excited, but definately worthwhile finding out now rather than later! After reading the responses, I removed the pumps and pre filters from the firewall. I need to find a low spot to mount them. Problem for another day...
